Gusher Days is a
3-day celebration of Seminole's oil boom history. It features a
carnival, live music, food concessions, bull riding competition,
car and tractor show, bass tournament, parade, arm wrestling
competition and more.

Seminole boasts
outstanding preschools and public schools, and is also serviced
by 2 area vo-tech schools. Seminole State College has come a
long way in providing quality education and services to citizens
of a 5-county area.

| Seminole Medical
Center is a newer 64,000 sq ft 32-bed state-of-the-art facility.
The E.D. Wood clinic is located in the hospital, as are
physician offices and a specialty clinic. There are also 14
acute care rooms, 4 intensive care beds, 12 skilled nursing
rooms and more. Two nursing homes provide 206 beds and 14
independent living apartments. |
